We’re seeking a future team member for the role of AI-Augmented Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Manchester. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and adopt AI-powered development tools such as Windsurf, Claude Code, and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to improve productivity and code quality. You enjoy collaborating with experienced engineers to tackle technical challenges and are keen to develop your skills across machine learning, cloud platforms, and modern data technologies. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: * Embrace Engineering 2.0 practices by actively using AI-augmented development workflows in your day-to-day work, contributing to team velocity and quality improvements * Use AI coding assistants (Windsurf, Claude Code) and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to accelerate your software delivery, automate routine tasks, and maintain high engineering standards * Contribute to the design and development of scalable solutions that integrate machine learning models, event streaming pipelines, and cloud-native services on Azure and AWS * Support the implementation of data platforms using Snowflake, helping to build and maintain integrations with broader enterprise data ecosystems * Assist in building and maintaining event streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hubs) to support high-throughput financial data flows * Develop and maintain full-stack features using .NET/C#, Angular, and SQL, writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code * Participate in technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions, actively learning and contributing to discussions on AI-augmented development and cloud patterns * Support team members through peer collaboration and pair programming, helping to foster a culture of continuous learning * Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and data teams to understand and apply best practices for cloud infrastructure and data pipeline design * Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality across the team * Contribute to Agile ceremonies and practices, helping to drive effective and adaptive workflows To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: * Enthusiasm for AI-augmented development, with exposure to or willingness to learn tools such as Windsurf, Claude Code, and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) * An understanding of Engineering 2.0 principles and a desire to use AI and intelligent automation to enhance how software is designed, built, and deployed * Familiarity with machine learning concepts and an interest in integrating ML capabilities into applications and data pipelines * Exposure to or willingness to learn Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics * Awareness of event streaming concepts and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or AWS Kinesis * Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud services, with a willingness to deepen your cloud skills across computing, storage, and serverless offerings * Working experience with .NET/C#, Angular, and SQL for building applications and data access layers * Good understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and object-oriented programming * Experience or exposure to Agile delivery practices (ideally Scrum) * Knowledge of TDD, Continuous Integration, and automation practices * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git) * Ability to analyze designs and code and contribute constructive feedback * Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at: BNY Newsroom [https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html] BNY LinkedIn [https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all] Here’s a few of our recent awards: * America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025 * World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025 * “Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025 Our Benefits and Rewards: BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
