Job Description We’re seeking an accomplished Senior architect to join our Brisbane studio as Project Team Leader, taking a key leadership role on one of Queensland’s largest new health infrastructure projects. This position suits a registered architect operating at Senior Associate level who thrives on leading multidisciplinary teams, fostering a strong design culture, and guiding complex project delivery from early design through to construction. You’ll be a central point of coordination — ensuring design quality, collaboration, and communication remain at the highest standard across a large team and with our client partners. Qualifications 12 – 15 + years of professional experience in architecture, including large-scale infrastructure projects Registered Architect (or eligibility for registration in Queensland) Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams of 20+ people Demonstrated experience on complex health, education, infrastructure, or major civic projects Strong communication and leadership skills, with confidence engaging directly with clients Deep understanding of design management, documentation, and coordination processes Proficiency in Revit and collaborative digital design workflows Ability to navigate complex project phases including ECI and Design & Construct Experience maintaining design quality, alignment with scope, and resourcing requirements Strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-moving project environments Additional Information Why Choose Hassell?
