Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate - Mechanical to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for leading mechanical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems and components Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards Conduct detailed engineering analyses and provide technical recommendations to optimize system performance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members Develop and maintain client relationships, participating in client meetings and presentations Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices Contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposal writing and cost estimations Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field Experience in Rail/Metro Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and sustainable design practices Experience working on projects in the Middle East region is a plus Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally to other countries in the region Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
