Key responsibilities and role requirements include: Assisting on leading complex multi-jurisdictional cross-border M&A and Private Equity transactions Supports in various aspects of transaction preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting filings, and other related documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements Coordinates various aspects of transaction processes, manages timelines, and ensures that all necessary steps are completed efficiently Liaising with clients and stakeholders Involvement in due diligence – analysis of agreements and their subsequent description Drafting and reviewing legal and technical documentation Working with local counsels in various jurisdictions May co-ordinate work of more junior members of the team Helps coach and develop more junior lawyers Admission in Australia, England & Wales or other Common Law jurisdiction qualification PQE 5-7 years, currently at Senior Associate level Good understanding of the key risks and issues involved in large transactions.
