About the Team New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. New Verticals include the DashMart, Convenience, Alcohol, Grocery, and Retail businesses. These categories bring about new challenges and opportunities to build something at DoorDash from the ground up. Our Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics pod focuses on enabling the operations behind each delivery and we are looking to expand our Logistics function! About the Role The New Verticals Logistics team’s goal is to drive cost savings while improving quality & efficiency for how we enable New Verticals delivery, with a key focus on Dasher experience & initiatives. Together, we're building the world's most reliable same-day logistics platform to fulfill our vision of empowering all local businesses. The projects we work on are diverse and have the potential to impact each side of our marketplace - from Dashers, to Consumers, to Merchants. We are hiring a few Senior Associates that will focus on crafting and executing winning strategies that might impact how we partner and develop our Dashers to how we win in the most strategic markets through cost and efficiency initiatives while ensuring strong growth for the business. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Build. You’ll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash’s next big business. You’ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details. Strategize. From first principles, you’ll develop the optimal strategy for best serving our customers. Experiment. You’ll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes. Analyze. You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate quickly based on data. Collaborate. You’ll work with a cross-functional team, including marketing, finance, legal, support, design, product, data science, engineering, and operations to build this new line of business for DoorDash. Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
