The Opportunity - Senior Associate, Paid Search (Amazon Focus) The Senior Associate, Paid Search will play a pivotal role in leading and managing paid search marketing campaigns with a primary focus on Amazon Search. While a strong foundation in traditional search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) is beneficial, we are specifically seeking someone with hands-on-keyboard experience managing robust campaigns within Amazon’s advertising ecosystem. You will be responsible for deepening your understanding of search—especially within Amazon—taking on day-to-day management responsibilities, and supporting the team in achieving campaign goals. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of paid search marketing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. A strong analytical mind is essential, as you will analyze data and identify trends to optimize campaign performance. Responsibilities: Manage Amazon paid search campaigns: Own day-to-day implementation across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display; manage budgets, bids, placements, targeting, and negative targeting; provide timely updates to the team and stakeholders. Billing: Support the team in monthly billing and reconciliation processes and protocols. Conduct analysis: Analyze search term reports, category/competitor insights, and retail readiness factors to identify optimization opportunities and make actionable recommendations. Monitor performance: Track account performance within Amazon Ads (and relevant retail media dashboards), identify trends, and make necessary optimizations to hit KPIs such as ROAS/ACOS, TACOS, CVR, and share of voice. Create assets: Lead the creation and refinement of keyword strategies, ad copy for Sponsored Brands, product collection strategies, and storefront/ad creative inputs; partner with retail/ecommerce teams on detail page readiness. Support team members: Train and mentor junior team members; share best practices and contribute to team-wide enablement. Contribute to reporting: Assist in the creation and analysis of performance reports, pacing, and testing readouts; communicate insights and next steps clearly. Quality Assurance: Act as a QA check for campaigns, bulk sheets, and Excel workbooks; ensure tracking, budgets, and naming conventions are accurate and consistent. Qualifications: Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2+ years of relevant paid search management experience. Hands-on-keyboard experience managing Amazon Ads campaigns at scale (required), including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display; comfort with bulk operations, portfolios, budgets, and bid strategies. Strong understanding of Amazon retail dynamics (e.g., buy box, inventory, retail readiness) and how they impact advertising performance. Hands-on-keyboard experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads is beneficial. Experience with bid/portfolio management or optimization platforms (e.g., Skai, SA360, Marin) is a plus; Amazon-dedicated tooling experience is highly valued. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas). Familiarity with automation/AI buying agents and scripting concepts is a plus (e.g., rules-based bidding, budget pacing). Ability to quickly learn and apply new software and tools, including Amazon API-driven or third-party platforms. Strong analytical skills and critical thinking; passion for structured testing (A/B and multivariate) and clear hypothesis-driven experimentation. Results-driven professional with a passion for learning and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced agency setting. Actively seeks out opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Enjoys working in a team environment and contributes to a positive team dynamic. Strong communication and organization skills. Preferred Certifications: Amazon Ads Accreditation/Certifications (e.g., Sponsored Ads, Retail Media) highly preferred. Google Ads Search Certification (beneficial). Microsoft Ads Certification (beneficial). Google Search Ads 360 Certification (beneficial). AI-Powered Shopping/Performance Ads Certifications (beneficial). #LI-KT1 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
