Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Engineering to manage our in-house product testing lab and regulatory compliance processes, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and global market entry. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about developing innovative testing and quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Product Testing Execution: Conduct regulatory, safety, and performance testing for new and existing products following established protocols. Lab Operations: Support day-to-day operations of the testing lab, including equipment setup, calibration, scheduling, and test execution. Regulatory Compliance Support: Execute required testing and labeling review to support global market compliance and Ruggable wholesale expansion. Escalate findings to senior team members when issues are identified. Testing Documentation & Reporting: Record test data accurately, prepare test reports, and maintain organized testing documentation for internal teams and external requests. Data Analysis: Compile, analyze, and interpret test and quality data using statistical tools. Identify trends, recurring issues, and potential process risks. Bonus points for familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase lab efficiency and reliability of test results and overall product quality metrics. What You’ll Need to Have: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Textile Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus) OR similar industry experience 3+ years of experience in product testing, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and testing protocols (EU REACH, ASTM, ISO, CPSIA, etc.). Understanding of textile and yarn manufacturing processes and equipment (e.g., extruding, weaving, tufting, knitting, bonding, washing, finishing, etc.) Experience managing or operating a product performance testing lab. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Preferred: Experience working with regional Asia teams and traveling to factories in Asia/Europe Understanding of global regulatory requirements for home textiles for UK, EU, Australia Experience working with wholesale accounts Exposure to structured quality tools (e.g., FMEA, Pareto analysis, DOE).
