rradar is a legal enterprise dedicated to helping businesses navigate business risk. We provide clients with the knowledge and tools they need to avoid and overcome risks, so they can take their businesses wherever they want them to go.
The UK’s data protection landscape is continuing to change, and businesses must be kept updated to ensure they remain compliant with what the law requires. As a result, we are now seeing significantly increased demand for our services and to help address this, we are looking to expand our Cyber, Data and Information Law (CDIL) Team with an ambitious and highly motivated mid- to senior-level solicitor.
Experienced and successful in this dynamic area of law and with a proven track record, you will be keen to develop your skills further in a testing but stimulating position that will give you the opportunity to achieve results and develop your career in all aspects of information law and practice.
Reporting to the CDIL Team Leader, your key areas of responsibility will include:
You will work with forensic experts, Counsel and other specialists as a key member of rradar’s Crisis Management Team, providing rapid data breach and cyber-attack support to our clients.
The role will also include elements of business development as we expand our client base further.
In return, we offer high-quality work that will allow you to develop your expertise in data protection, including working on both litigious and regulatory matters, and collaborating with your rradar colleagues across multiple legal disciplines. There will be opportunity to work closely with our litigation specialists and handle your own litigation cases.
This is a full-time, permanent position, located at either, our Leeds, Hull, Birmingham, or Leicester offices, with travel expected between our office locations and to meet clients or undertake work on clients’ premises. A full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is therefore essential.
For an experienced candidate, we are willing to discuss the option of fully remote working, with all the opportunities it offers.
