ABOUT THRIVE LAW: LAW, BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT.
Are you ready to redefine what it means to be an employment lawyer?
Do you believe everybody should be enabled to thrive in the workplace?
At Thrive Law, we’re fighting for a fair, equitable and inclusive employment landscape where everyone thrives.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Thrive Law, a progressive, thought-leading, multi-award-winning law firm deeply committed to transforming the workplace into an environment where diversity, inclusion, and well-being aren’t just valued - they’re the foundation of our practice.
Under the inspiring leadership of our Founder & Managing Partner, Jodie Hill, Thrive Law transcends traditional legal practice. We’re dedicated to fostering a positive shift in the legal sector, propelled by Jodie’s personal journey and her ground-breaking work in mental health advocacy within the legal profession. Our mission is clear – we exist to deliver excellence, drive education, advocate for change and empower individuals.
We live and breathe our core values and have an appetite for change and a clear vision of a fairer and more just world. Our values include collaboration, equality for all, empowerment, authenticity and proactive change. This opportunity is for those who place Diversity & Inclusion at the forefront of business agendas and are eager to join a firm where well-being is part of our DNA.
DO APPLY IF:
In your pivotal role at Thrive Law, you will become an integral member of our dynamic growing team, engaging in both contentious and non-contentious legal matters, predominantly focusing on litigation in an employment context. This diverse work spectrum spans advisory HR services and Employment Tribunal representation for both claimants and respondents. Directly reporting to our Managing Partner, Jodie Hill, you’ll gain invaluable insights from senior partners and also mentor less experienced team members, fostering a culture of learning and leadership within our firm.
This position is ideally suited to someone with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). However, we are open to considering candidates who can showcase the requisite skills and experience for the role. Our varied client base includes SMEs, national corporations, charitable organisations, educational institutions, company directors, high-net-worth individuals, employees, and union members, many of which openly disclose disabilities necessitating effective communication across all client levels.
Given Thrive Law’s commitment to mental health, wellbeing, neurodiversity, and a robust focus on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I), an understanding of mental health issues and disability discrimination and all areas of discrimination is crucial. You’ll be expected to be well-versed in proactive ED&I strategies and initiatives. Additionally, your role will extend to active engagement in the firm’s marketing endeavours (including social media), content creation for articles, public relations efforts, business development activities, and leveraging social media and networking platforms to enhance our brand presence and outreach as well as developing your own personal brand.
