Overview MUFG Capital Analytics is seeking a Senior Associate, System Support Specialist with 2+ years of experience with a strong accounting and/or financial background to join our team.  This growth-oriented position will have the primary responsibility of supporting the applications used by the Fund Administration group.  This individual will be responsible for responding to user submitted requests, processing the requests, and working with the business and/or technology to facilitate any testing or answer any questions under the direction of the Sr. System Support Manager.  An understanding of current accounting principles and how they are applied to the accounting and financial reporting of Private Equity Funds is strongly preferred but not required. Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus  * Accelerate delivery of automation candidates and AI-driven capabilities with Continuous Improvement and backend technical team through automation candidate identification at the first touch-point , rapid prototyping, seamless integration of emerging technologies and automation. * Establish enterprise grade data governance, stewardship, and semantic frameworks to democratize Application functional and technical landscape while maintaining compliance, quality, and control. Operational Management  * Review and process user submitted tickets in a timely manner. * Research and resolve application issues as directed by the Sr. System Support Manager.  * Ensure user submitted requests have the appropriate documentation attached to the ticket as directed by the Sr. System Support Manager. * Ensure user submitted requests have been resolved and closed appropriately. * Review and update documentation describing the “best practices and processes” for using the system under the direction of the Sr. System Support Manager. * Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles as they pertain to Private Equity and the systems used by MUFG Capital Analytics.  * Maintain system user access and perform user access reviews according to audit policies and procedures. * Maintenance and support of daily operations related to the system. * Assist with end user training of the system under the direction of the Sr. System Support Manager * Coordinate delivery of client requests and production fixes (also strategic). People Leadership  * Collaborate and work closely with Operations, Fund Accounting Team, business partners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other stakeholders. * Coordinate delivery of client requests and production fixes (also strategic). Governance & Risk  * Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory requirements, implementing proper access controls, encryption, data masking, lineage tracking, and compliance with Change Management policies. * Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and technology risks across application landscape, incident response protocols, and regular risk reviews. * Strengthen governance frameworks by embedding quality standards, audit readiness, policy enforcement, and documentation practices to reduce operational vulnerabilities and ensure consistent, compliant data operations. Experience & Personal Attributes Experience  * College degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or related field. * One or two years of relevant work experience required. * Proactive, resourceful, strong work ethic, team player.  * Strong Excel and analytical skills (knowledge of VLOOKUPS, PivotTables, and Tables) * MS SQL Query hands-on * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Knowledge of Private Equity, ServiceNow, and/or Investran application is preferred. * Ability to manage and reorganize competing priorities.
