QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a related undergraduate degree with required academic credentials (i.e. Management, Commerce, Business with a major in Accounting)
  • CPA designation attained or working toward a CPA designation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively—both remotely and in-office—in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to client service.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills paired with the ability to actively listen.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and initiate their resolution.
  • Desire to work in cross-border taxation and develop technical skills.
  • Ability to organize complex information to support research and tax preparation requirements.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience practicing Canadian and/or U.S tax.
