Your New Role We have an opportunity for a Senior Associate, Treasury & Public Operations to join the Virtual Change Team (VCT) and own and deliver BAU change items for Investment Operations. Key responsibilities will include; Identify change opportunities, and advocate for innovative solutions to business problems. Raise new change opportunities on behalf of Investment Operations and present these at the Triage forum. Review external vendor opportunities and build relationships with BRS/JPM and Calypso to drive and deliver improvements to processes, controls, and automation. Lead the prioritisation of BAU change activities within Investment Operations. Effectively design, lead and implement approved BAU changes assigned to them through the Operations Change framework, enabling continuous improvement, increased efficiency and scalability within their BAU team. Lead operational readiness activities ahead of change implementation and project deliveries. Communicate to Investment Operations about current and upcoming change activities. Be aware of larger change items, strategic and major projects impacting Investment Operations, and ensure awareness and readiness within the team. Be a change champion in Investment Operations and assist team members to identify improvement opportunities. Assist to build a continuous improvement culture across Investment Operations. Work effectively and collaborate with other VCT members across Investment Operations globally, as well as with Operations Change team members and other SMEs, technical specialists and stakeholders, as required. What You’ll Need 7+ years’ experience working in middle office operations at a Pension/ Superannuation Fund, Investment Manager, or Custodian/Asset Servicing. Solid understanding of investment topics and fundamentals. Operational understanding of the data flows between Asset Owner, Fund Manager, and the Custodian/Administrator/Registry. Demonstrable experience of Aladdin, a distinct advantage. Ability to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity. Ability to work collaboratively within and across various teams to achieve end to end business outcomes. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Confidence in raising a dissenting opinion or challenging previous wisdom. Courage to innovate and encourage new ways of thinking. Meticulous attention to detail.
