Responsibilities: Job Summary: In this role you will lead shift operations of water treatment plant in SDAWAC (Shahe/Dongying/Abing/Weifang) site. You will ensure the water quality meetings regulatory requirement, process running reliably and efficiently, and operators are well trained to run the processes safely and effectively. You will be responsible for managing the water treatment team, improving operation performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining good relationships with local authorities. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, and experience in environmental regulation compliance. Job Responsibilities: 1. Operational Excellence - Lead and manage a team of water treatment operators to ensure safe and efficient operation of water treatment plants. - Monitor and control water quality parameters to meet or exceed regulatory requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize process performance. 2. Regulatory Compliance - Stay updated on relevant environmental regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance. - Prepare reports and documentation for government agencies as required by law. 3. Training & Development - Provide training and guidance to operators on safety procedures, operating protocols, and best practices. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 4. Relationship Building - Build and maintain positive working relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders. - Address public concerns and address any issues proactively to prevent negative impacts on the environment. 5. Maintenance & Capital Projects - Develop and execute maintenance plans for equipment and infrastructure. - Manage capital projects related to water treatment upgrades or expansions. 6. Continuous Improvement - Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. - Implement measures to reduce energy consumption and costs. 7. Incident Response - Coordinate emergency responses to spills, overflows, or other incidents related to water treatment processes. Job Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations, preferably in a management role. - Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and technologies. - Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and standards. - Experience with process optimization and troubleshooting techniques. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in English language preferred but not required.
