Health & Wellbeing: Life and Medical Insurance (including dependents) Rewards & Recognition: Annual appraisals, Awards, Company events Growth & Perks: Free daily meals & treats, career development, certifications, vibrant office culture Vibrant City Location: Work from Colombo, Sri Lanka (Australian Business hours) Ideal Candidate Profile What You'll Bring (Experience) Holding the CPA Qualification At least 5 years of Australian (AU) accounting experience, with solid exposure to Individual and Small Business Tax Accounting 5+ years of hands-on experience in tax preparation, journal entries, and BAS and IAS lodgements Proven experience in end-to-end financial statement preparation Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Experience using Xero (experience with XPM and FYI Docs is a plus; full system training and handover will be provided) Ability to work independently About You (Soft Skills) High level of integrity and professionalism Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset Demonstrates sound judgment and practical decision-making Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive willingness to learn Clear and confident written and verbal English communication skills Your Impact Starts Here Tax & Financial Statements Workflow Manage workflow for year-end income tax returns and financial statements for Australian individuals and businesses Review queries from outsourced contractors preparing returns and financials Respond directly where possible Draft client communications for review and sending by the Firm Principal where required Review completed tax returns and financial statements in accordance with firm guidelines Bookkeeping Review & Compliance (Australian Clients) Review the accuracy of monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for Australian businesses (primarily Xero) Draft written communications (on behalf of the Firm Principal) to client bookkeepers to address and correct issues Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of assigned client groups to minimise unnecessary client queries (e.g. avoiding requests for information already provided) Prepare journals and supporting workings to correct bookkeeping issues for review and posting by the Firm Principal This may include forensic Excel work to resolve historical bookkeeping issues Prepare recurring BAS and IAS forms using Excel, Xero and XPM for lodgement ABOUT US @ TGT GLOBAL As a Great Place to Work® certified company with top ratings given by our teams, we make sure our people enjoy more than just a job.
