3+ YEARS OF AUDIT EXPERIENCE AT A CPA FIRM REQUIRED.
If you’re tired of hearing firms say they offer work-life balance but never seeing it in practice, this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
At this small, full-service CPA firm in Norwood, the goal isn’t to micromanage you, pressure you into unnecessary late nights, or fill your calendar with endless committees.
It’s simple here: do good work, take care of your clients, and still have a life you enjoy outside of the office.
The accounting firm has around 15 people, split evenly between tax, audit and accounting, and has been independent for nearly 50 years. The leadership team is forward-thinking, invested in the future, and committed to staying independent:no mergers, no sales, no big surprises. Here your family comes first, so you won’t be expected to miss out on your kid’s recital or game, you’ll be trusted to get your work done and still prioritize your family.
What the Senior Audit Associate work looks like:You’ll conduct audits for a generalist client base, mostly nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and a variety of privately held businesses. If you enjoy a blend of audit and tax, that’s available too.
The culture here:Genuinely casual. Friendly. No politics. No busy work for appearances. Get your work done and go enjoy your life outside the office. And yes, busy season here really is different. Hours peak around 55 hours a week at the very height of busy season, and it doesn’t even start until late February. No endless January-to-April grind. No expectation that you live at your desk.
Flexibility is real. Full-time employees work three days in the office and two days from home. Part-time options are available too, and once training is complete, part-time employees could even work fully remotely.
