Lidl’s Audit department is responsible for ensuring all areas of our business adhere to the correct company procedures.
As a Senior Audit Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth process & procedural audits throughout Ireland & Northern Ireland. In addition, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the department. You will be a self-starter who is adept at successfully coordinating large audit programmes through collaboration with Lidl International, Lidl Ireland Departments, Stores & Regional Distribution Centres.

What you’ll do

• Providing independent Departmental, Store & Warehouse operational evaluations
• Identifying risks and issues against clearly defined processes & evaluation criteria
• Planning and conducting internal audits across IE & NI based on business risks
• Coordinating multi-site assessments utilising team member assistance when required
• Audit report writing for distribution to Senior Management
• Analysing and presenting audit results to senior stakeholders
• Follow-up to ensure corrective measures are completed & risks have been addressed
• Review, evaluate and risk assess new business processes

What you’ll need

• Experienced Senior Project Manager / Department Manager / Process Owner with demonstrated procedure or compliance knowledge
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
• Proven analytical & interpersonal skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong time management & organisational skills
• German proficiency is highly advantageous
• Flexible and willing to travel within Ireland / Northern Ireland
• Full driving licence is essential
