About the Role BDO Audit is our largest team in Australia and this role will play a pivotal role in leading audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting for clients in the Retail, Consumer Business, TMT, and Natural Resources sectors (TRR Sector Group) or Manufacturing, Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure (MTHL Sector Group). This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, supervise and develop staff, and contribute to the strategic direction of our service line. Key duties and responsibilities: Execute audits for large proprietary & listed organisations Identify & communicate risk areas to clients Develop audit strategies & drafting of audit plans Group audit instructions & documenting control environments Review files around technical accounting & audit requirements Draft management letters & audit completion reports Prepare & review of statutory financial reports High level of client service through on-site client visits Mentoring junior staff & building close internal relationships About You Minimum 3 years+ related experience, preferably within professional services. Strong technical accounting knowledge, including Australian IFRS In-depth understanding of Australian Auditing Standards and statutory requirements Independent thinker with strong problem-solving abilities An ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders at all levels Proven ability to manage a variety of client portfolios to achieve team outcomes A professional, proactive, and driven to deliver results. Qualifications & Experience Required CA qualified (or equivalent) Broad client experience, including ASX-listed companies and various industries. Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience with Advanced Professional Solutions (APS) and audit tool software (desired) Negotiable salary commencing from $95,000 inclusive of superannuation on offer! Responsibilities
