The opportunity: The Senior Auditor role as part of the Audit engagement team is quite crucial. It offers significant opportunities for growth and development, while carrying a high level of accountability and professional integrity. Your key responsibilities: Support the audit strategy, planning, execution and delivery of audit engagements. Actively establish and maintain relationships with clients. Coordinate communication between the clients and the audit team. Execute complex assurance procedures. Anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate. Coach, engage and supervise the performance of junior colleagues. Skills and attributes for success: At least three to four years of relevant work experience – external audit experience is an advantage. Practical knowledge of the entire audit process. Familiarity with current auditing techniques and IFRS accounting standards. Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bulgarian. Proficient IT skills. Excellent time management, analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
