JOB TITLE: SENIOR FINANCIAL AUDITOR

Location: Belfast, Hybrid (option 2 days working from home)
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Auditor to join a new dynamic and growing team within the financial services sector. As a Senior Financial Auditor, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality financial audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial auditing and a comprehensive understanding of financial services, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • , with a strong understanding of the financial services sector.
  • Proficient in auditing techniques, financial reporting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Plan, execute, and deliver financial audits in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and assess key financial risks and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing advisory services as needed.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and manage audit budgets efficiently.
