Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Auditor to join their corporate audit team. This position plays a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, and providing insights to strengthen financial integrity across a large, diversified organization. The Senior Auditor will oversee audit engagements from planning through reporting, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with leadership to enhance operational and financial performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of progressive public accounting or internal audit experience, with strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead audit engagements from risk assessment and planning through execution and reporting.
• Review and test internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other applicable standards.
• Supervise and mentor staff auditors, providing training, feedback, and performance guidance.
• Analyze contracts, leases, and financial agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment under ASC 606, ASC 842, and related standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency, and present practical recommendations to management.
• Draft audit reports and communicate findings to business unit leaders and senior management.
