Description

Shape the Future of Safer, Smarter Mobility
We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to drive the development of next-generation ADS (Automated Driving Systems) for vehicles designed in North America. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation—transforming concepts into real-world solutions that make driving safer, more intuitive, and more enjoyable.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead ADS Innovation: Develop systems and applications that bring advanced driver-assistance and automated driving features to life in upcoming vehicle platforms.
  • Define the Future: Build business cases and translate customer insights into system requirements using data-driven analysis.
  • Engineer with Impact: Develop and publish system, functional, and software/hardware requirements that guide ADS integration from concept to production.
  • Collaborate Across Boundaries: Partner with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, production-ready ADS technologies.
  • Hands-On Development: Design and implement software in Python and C++ on Linux platforms, ensuring robust performance and seamless integration.
  • Validate and Verify: Lead functional testing in simulation, closed-track, and public-road environments to ensure world-class reliability.
  • Drive Innovation Forward: Propose new features and technologies by analyzing market, technology, and social trends to shape the roadmap for future ADS.
  • Own the Process: Manage project schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment, ensuring transparency through data-driven storytelling.
  • Measure What Matters: Track KPIs, assess performance, and recommend improvements that advance safety and user experience.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience developing functional and system requirements for vehicle software applications.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++ on Linux OS (3+ years).
  • Hands-on experience with automotive or robotic sensor technology (e.g., cameras, radar).
  • Knowledge of FMEA, FTA, DRBFM, and root-cause investigation processes.
  • Proven ability to design software architectures and contribute to robust system design.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Clear and engaging communicator, skilled at presenting technical content to diverse audiences.
  • Experience building business cases for new, innovative technologies.

What Sets You Apart

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Direct experience with ADS technologies and frameworks.
  • Expertise in deriving specifications for automotive camera systems, HMI design, or LVDS communications.
  • Hands-on validation skills, including vehicle-based data acquisition and test system design.
