What you’ll be doing As Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating a complex line of products consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software/firmware. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D teams to validate development changes and ensure integration integrity across the system. Your role will also involve: Integration of a complex line of products consisting of mechanics, electronics, and SW/FW Collaborating closely with cross-functional R&D teams to validate development changes and ensure integration integrity across the system Developing and maintaining automation tests and infrastructure for both back-end and front-end features to ensure reliability and efficiency Creating and executing comprehensive test plans, test suites, and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and integration Conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting integration issues, clearly communicating findings to relevant teams Executing system-level tests on physical hardware, focusing on calibration validation, functionality, and performance Providing detailed reports and actionable insights on test results, defects, and system performance to stakeholders Creating and maintaining relevant documentation, test protocols, and technical guidelines Interfacing with R&D teams, QA, and product teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum of five years of experience in automation within an R&D environment Expertise in Python and Bash scripting Experience with frontend automation frameworks, with a strong preference for Playwright Experience with CI tools such as GitHub Actions Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker) and API testing tools Detail-oriented, self-driven approach with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to quickly learn, adapt, and drive complex integration tasks to completion
