What you’ll do Telstra Enterprise - Enterprise Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Telstra's enterprise business, including order fulfilment, customer support, and service delivery. Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Embed security practices across the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with teams to coach, share knowledge, and drive best practices. Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions, including API integration and network configuration. Work closely with vendors and influence strategic decisions through hands-on experience. Maintain and enhance automation platforms using tools such as Ansible, GitLab, and Jenkins. Develop scripts for network validation and monitoring. Continuously improve processes, frameworks, and system efficiency. Contribute to the development of next-generation network automation for Telstra Defence. About You Australian Citizen with active NV1 clearance Strong understanding of RedHat Ansible, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins), and observability platforms (e.g., Splunk). Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible). Experience with infrastructure management in VMware and Linux environments. Strong understanding and knowledge of network engineering fundamentals (routing, switching, protocols). Familiarity with secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles. Strong Application security expertise including: Code reviews and vulnerability assessments (SAST/DAST) Security tool integration in CI/CD pipelines Perform manual penetration testing Work with dev/ops teams to ensure vulnerabilities are resolved within agreed SLAs. Threat modelling and secure architecture reviews Incident response and remediation Bonus points for Experience in Defence development environments. Exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GWAPT, CSSLP).
