Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine. About the role: As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Ciklum is building the collaborative sportswear design and creation platform for TOP-5 multinational company of the sportswear market. Scalable solution that will be used by famous worldwide sportswear designers to create and bring to market new sports fashion collections. Part of the larger Product Lifecycle Management ecosystem the platform delivered within the current project will become a market differentiator and key comparative advantage for multi-billion business. Project will use proven and edge technologies and concepts, such as SAFe, Behaviour-Driven Development, DevOps, Event-Driven architecture. Responsibilities: * Creation of Test Automation Strategy * Development of test automation framework architecture * Automation of regression and other functional testing on Web backend projects * Building and maintaining automated testing frameworks * Integrating automated testing into CI process * Test case adjustments for automated testing needs * Test data and test environment preparations * Making conclusion and reporting about stability of the product under test * Possibility to perform testing activities on several projects, communicate with developers and project managers * Close collaboration with Manual QA Team * Assist in strategic decisions in regards to Manual/Automation processes * Ability and willingness to cover both Automation and Manual QA aspects Requirements: * BE - Serenity + Rest assured + Java21 * FE - Playwright/Typescript * Cucumber * Allure * Experience with modern agent/MCP-based testing approaches * 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation. * Experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch * Solid understanding of core QA processes * Solid skills in Java and OOP * Experience with implementation of automated testing for project and system * Experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, Teamcity, or similar). * Experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN and others) * In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures * Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types * Understanding of Agile/Scrum * Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or relevant * Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above What`s in it for you? * Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment * Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise * Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications * Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies * Flexibility: Enjoy radical flexibility – work remotely or from an office, your choice * Care: We’ve got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations About us: At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter. Responsibilities

The role involves creating the Test Automation Strategy and developing the test automation framework architecture for web backend projects.
