PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fiel

• dExperience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing
• .Strong expertise in Selenium and Java programming
• .Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• .Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• .Solid understanding of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., TestNG, JUnit)
• .Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• .Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• .

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Proficiency in Test Automation tools like Selenium Webdriver, SmartBear Test complete, GitLab, IntelliJ, and TestNG Framework

• .Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
• .Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• .Familiarity with Test Management tools like Microfocus ALM
• .Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices

Leading the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and design specification

• sDeveloping and implementing test automation strategies and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
• .Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria
• .Mentoring and training team members on automation testing best practices, tools, and methodologies
• .Integrating automated testing into CI / CD pipelines using DevOps tools and practices
• .Monitoring and reporting on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall quality assurance status
• .Continuously evaluating and improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies to align with industry best practices
• .Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing, cloud computing, and DevOps

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to join our dynamic team in Digital Services and Analytics (DS&A) and drive our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automation testing using Selenium, proficient programming skills in Java, and experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices. This role requires leadership capabilities to guide a team of testers and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Please note: this role is subject to successful Contract Award.
This is an on-site based role, with flexibility for occasional remote working at the discretion of the management team.
