Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Tester with a strong background in test automation, API testing, and performance testing. Proficient in Java-based automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and scripting, with a passion for improving software quality through efficient test strategies and automation best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin;
  • Proven experience in Implementing API test automation strategies to ensure reliability and performance of web services;
  • Proven experience conducting performance and load testing using Neoload and DynaTrace to identify and resolve system bottlenecks;
  • Proven experience in developing and optimizing Bash and PowerShell scripts for test execution, system monitoring, and reporting;
  • Proven experience in Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless continuous testing and deployment;
  • Proven experience in collaborating closely with development, analysts, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to improve test coverage and software reliability;
  • Provided mentorship and guidance to junior testers, improving overall automation capabilities within the team;
  • Proven experience in translation processes (TM management), Experience in XML document processing, Experience in XML workflows in legislative environments;
  • ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation & Advanced Level preferred) is required;
  • Certified in relevant automation tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified) and ITIL v4 would be considered as a plus;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to software testing;
  • Ability to work in agile and DevOps environments;
  • Very good knowledge of English (at least Level B2);
  • Very good knowledge of French (at least Level B2).

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Test Automation: Expertise in Java-based test automation frameworks, including Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin. Knowledge of Java development tools, including Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, Gradle. Excellent experience with end-to-end test automation tools, including Selenium IDE, Katalon Studio, or CypressJUnit
  • API Testing: Strong experience in REST and SOAP API testing using Bruno, RestAssured, Swagger and similar tools.
  • Performance & Load Testing: Hands-on experience with tools such as Neoload for load and stress testing, DynaTrace for advanced monitoring and profiling • Scripting: Proficiency in Bash scripting and PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management. Groovy, JavaScript for API web service automation. Java and JavaScript for UI and/or backend automation.
  • CI/CD Integration: Experience in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and similar tools.
  • Version Control: Proficient in Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Test Management: Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow for tracking and reporting defects, Wiki (Confluence) based application for tests reports.
  • Cloud & Virtualization: Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS/Azure and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Test planning and strategies: Strong knowledge in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Testing with strong experience in Agile software development. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies used by large-scale international organizations.
  • Manual testing: Strong knowledge and experience in test management, test methodology, and test implementation. Strong knowledge and experience in test plan writing, interpretation, and enhancement of User-Stories. Strong knowledge and experience in exploratory testing, including smoke test and happy path traversal scenarios.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assistance to project managers for writing Master Test Plans and / or Specific Test Plans;
  • Follow-up versions and authorize maintenance of integration environment (monitoring);
  • Management of the complete process of functional testing;
  • Management of the complete process of integration testing;
  • Writing test cases and test scenarios;
  • Test execution;
  • Issue reporting to the technical team and monitoring
  • Reporting to the project manager and the release manager • Test automation • Assistance to project owners (including helping in users acceptance tests);
  • Quality improvement of applications in accordance with unit-specific guidelines (accessibility/navigation/consistency/etc.);
  • RFC validation from a testing point of view;
  • Measure of quality following objective indicators;
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
