POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated PartsPro Team Lead for PartSource. This role comes with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. As the PartsPro Team Lead, you’ll utilize your auto parts expertise to drive sales in your PartSource store, applying our parts look-up system to identify and sell suitable automotive parts solutions to our customers. When the store management team is absent, you will assume keyholder responsibilities and oversee all aspects of store operations. Your contribution will be crucial in fostering positive relationships with our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for automobiles, coupled with strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Effective leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • 1-3 years of retail experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including point of sale.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 50 lbs for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Familiar with using protective equipment, including mandatory certified safety shoes (provided upon hire), and as required, safety glasses, reflective safety vest, gloves, and apron.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize the PartSource Operating System and external vendor platforms to identify the correct parts, process transactions, and sell suitable automotive parts solutions.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and warranty details to customers.
  • Participate in in-store recognition programs, contests, and customer feedback initiatives.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management regarding team performance.
  • Delegate and ensure completion of store tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assume store opening and closing duties in the absence of store management.
  • Coach and train new or junior store staff.
  • Support enforcement of audit compliance, inventory control, and company standards.
  • Execute daily shipping/receiving tasks, including returns processing and related documentation.
  • Uphold store appearance and merchandising standards and maintain a safe work environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Recommend maintenance or repairs for store and delivery vehicles.
