CS Group Canada is offering a dynamic and growing environment to an experienced Senior Software Architect to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join our innovative team in Montreal, Canada. In this role, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge automotive software systems using AUTOSAR architecture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our vehicle software platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, preferably in the automotive domain.
  • Strong experience with AUTOSAR systems and modeling tools like Rhapsody (or similar).
  • Familiarity with ASPICE processes
  • Experience designing software for functional safety
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in software architecture design and UML.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with automotive software development tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English preferred).
  • Be mobile and available to travel once a week.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automotive software architectures (SW base) using AUTOSAR concepts.
  • Integrate Functional Safety (FuSa) principles into the software architecture of an ASIL C component.
  • Collaborate with the application team to integrate the SW base with a Simulink model.
  • Optimize software performance and reliability for automotive applications.
  • Develop the architecture in compliance with ASPICE processes (SWE1 & SWE2).
  • Solve complex software issues and provide innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
