Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, oversee, and execute installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of AV/VTC systems across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks. Lead VTC support team maintaining AV/VTC hardware, software, and peripherals (CODEC, AV, Gateways, TMS, Monitors, Projectors, AMX Panels). Program and configure Extron, Crestron, AMX, and BIAMP systems. Perform rack-level configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation. Provide oversight of daily AV/VTC operations. Lead troubleshooting of escalated issues and perform root cause analysis. Recommend new technologies and modernization strategies. Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams. Provide system updates for outages and evolving requirements. Maintain technical documentation and ensure DoD/DISA compliance. Interface with government leadership and vendors. Mentor junior personnel and provide technical guidance. Support SOP and security documentation development. Maintain awareness of emerging AV/VTC technologies and DoD network standards to ensure mission-aligned, compliant, and modern solutions across all supported programs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Active DoD Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required. Active CompTIA Security+ Active Crestron or Extron certifications (CCP, EAP, Control Professional, etc.) preferred. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of AV/VTC engineering and installation experience. Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX programming and DSP audio systems. Experience supporting NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, GWAN, and GOLD networks. Knowledge of DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (Work Role 411). Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
