Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior AWS DevSecOps Engineer to support an intel program focused on cloud development. This position will be fully remote. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR AWS DEVSECOPS ENGINEER INCLUDE:

• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Proven experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least four (4) of the following areas:
• Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Atlassian Jira, Confluence
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
• Kubernetes and Helm
• PowerShell or Bash scripting
• Security automation (SAST, DAST)
• Cybersecurity tools (Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Git strategies (GitFlow, GitHub Flow)
• Cloud architecture for high availability and scalability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
• Experience supporting federal agencies or working in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, and other government security frameworks.

Compensation for the Senior AWS DevSecOps Engineer include:

• $130,000- $155,000 depending on experience

• Architect, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure aligned with high availability and scalability best practices.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Artifactory to support continuous integration and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle using tools such as SAST, DAST, and STIG scanner to ensure compliance and vulnerability mitigation.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm, ensuring robust orchestration and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash to streamline operations and improve system reliability.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity tools including Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, and Qmulous to enhance cloud security posture.
• Apply Git branching strategies (GitFlow, GitHub Flow) to support collaborative development and version control.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to DevSecOps best practices across the organization.
