Job Description We are looking for a Senior AWS Lex Developer with strong expertise in building and managing skill bots and delivering high-quality conversational AI solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will play a key role in requirement gathering, bot design, and end-to-end implementation across multiple customer touchpoints. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to transform business use cases into intelligent conversational experiences using AWS Lex, Lambda, and related AWS services. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of AWS Lex-based skill bots for voice and chat channels. Conduct requirement gathering sessions with clients and translate functional needs into technical specifications. Design conversation flows, intents, slots, and fulfillment logic in alignment with user journey goals. Integrate bots with AWS Lambda, Amazon Connect, DynamoDB, and external APIs for dynamic response generation. Ensure bot performance optimization, error handling, and continuous improvement using analytics and user feedback. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with contact center systems, CRM tools, and enterprise applications. Support UAT, documentation, deployment, and post-go-live enhancements. Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices in bot design, security, and compliance. Contribute to solution architecture discussions, effort estimation, and project planning. Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lex (V1/V2) for chatbot and voice bot development. Proven expertise in skill bot design and modular architecture for multi-intent handling. Proficiency in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and S3. Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and documentation of conversational solutions. Knowledge of Amazon Connect integration for IVR or contact center automation. Strong understanding of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) concepts and intent optimization. Hands-on programming experience in Python or Node.js for backend and fulfillment logic. Excellent communication, client interaction, and analytical skills. AWS Certified Developer or AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification preferred.
