• Position overview: We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in building complex systems on AWS and will play a key role in consulting with clients, guiding solution design, and contributing to the development of predefined AWS solutions.
• This role requires close collaboration with Partnership Sales, Business Development, and delivery teams, and will involve client visits in the UK (primarily London) and Ireland for meetings and AWS-specific events. Remote work within the UK is supported outside of these engagements.
• Responsibilities: Lead the development and enhancement of DataArt’s AWS capabilities, including migration, DevOps, and application modernization.
• Design cloud architectures aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Drive improvements in DevOps, automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and test coverage.
• Provide technical leadership in complex presales opportunities requiring deep AWS expertise.
• Guide and support delivery teams of Cloud Engineers on AWS migrations and transformation engagements.
• Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders, ensuring visibility, transparency, and effective decision-making.
• Apply senior-level judgment and influencing skills to demonstrate business benefits and secure stakeholder alignment.
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience, including 7+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure expertise.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services with emphasis on migration, DevOps, and application modernization.
• Strong skills in cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Proven leadership in guiding teams through complex, large scale AWS migrations and transformations.
• Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Nice to have: AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with Amazon Q Developer and/or other AI-assisted development tools.
