Job Description
Here at Version 1, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Azure Platform Consultant to join our thriving Digital, Data and Cloud Practice. If you want to be involved in delivering value, innovation, and excellence with our customers, we would love to hear from you.

What you will do:

• Work with customers and Version 1 colleagues delivering high quality solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and identify solutions and opportunities.
• Use DevOps processes and tooling for the delivery of IaaS and PaaS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Produce and contribute to high quality documentation.

All of this will be done with the support and collaboration of our Cloud Platform Team; and we would like you to contribute to technical decisions and team development initiatives in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Be able to lead on technical designs based on customer requirements, communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with the delivery of Azure technologies and solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secure, according to best practices noted in the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework.
• Experience working with Cloud native solutions and services.
• Experience using DevOps and IaC tooling.
• Experience with network and security solutions and services.
• Experience with identity solutions for Cloud deployments
• Identify project issues or blockers and take the lead in resolution.
• Be passionate about continual learning and development to keep track of emerging technologies.
• Have good commercial awareness and be able to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities.

Additional Information
Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or London.
