JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced senior-level Back End Developer to join our dynamic team and help us build and maintain our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. This role requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a commitment to best practices in software development. This is a highly collaborative role with great opportunity to get a seat at the table of an explosive new brand.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is required.
• Minimum 7-10+ years of experience as a Back End Developer, Full Stack, or Software Engineer.
• Proven experience and proficiency with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration tasks is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must have a passion for learning new technologies
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently.
• Must live local to Parsippany, NJ

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems and APIs for our SaaS application serving our automotive clients.
• Assist the Director of Engineering with mentoring the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of backend systems.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best coding practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate user-facing features using server-side logic.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Utilize the required frameworks to build efficient applications.
• Develop microservices architecture to enhance application modularity.
• Collaborate with multiple API providers for seamless integration of necessary data.
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain necessary data storage in SQL server.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
