We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join us at Telia. I’m Monika Ažukaitė, Head of Prepaid & Public Web Systems, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on building cutting-edge backend services that power our prepaid service website. What you’ll do: Take the lead in backend development for our prepaid services, focusing on a major payment system transformation. You will: Design and develop scalable, secure backend solutions. Collaborate with backend, frontend, and QA team members. Guide solution design and ensure best practices. Drive integration with mobile and web platforms. What will help you thrive in this role: This is a great opportunity for someone who is a proactive problem-solver, thrives in collaborative environments and is confident in guiding technical decisions that impact critical projects. You also need: Proven experience working with Java, Springboot (developing different products/features or working with multiple projects). Knowledge and experience of microservices and RESTful API design and implementation. Ability to JUnit test including unit testing and integration testing. Experience working with collaborative development workflows.
