Your work will be at the core of our platform, enabling seamless operations, integrations, and scalability for a global reusable ecosystem that serves users in over 20 countries.Your areas of responsibility

• Backend Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using TypeScript and a serverless architecture on AWS.
• Serverless Expertise: Build robust solutions with AWS Lambda, leveraging the full AWS ecosystem (e.g., DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation) for high performance and reliability.
• GraphQL API Development: Create and manage a GraphQL server to provide seamless integration and data access across our platform.
• Database Management: Develop and optimize queries for a PostgreSQL database to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and enforce best practices to ensure a high standard of maintainable and scalable code.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and resilience to support rapid growth and new market opportunities.
• Agility: Adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your profile and skills

• Extensive experience with TypeScript and serverless architectures on AWS.
• Deep understanding of AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, and the AWS ecosystem (e.g., API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.).
• Strong experience in designing and building GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency in building scalable, distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of security best practices for backend development.
• Background in agile software development or startup environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and eagerness to tackle technical challenges with enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
