YOUR EXPERIENCE

Proven Backend Expertise

• Solid experience in Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks) and TypeScript for building scalable backend applications
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deployment in both on-prem and cloud environments

Bare Metal & Cloud

• Hands-on experience deploying solutions on bare metal infrastructure (on-premise) with an emphasis on scalability and performance
• Comfortable with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.) for hosting and managing ML Ops workflows
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a strong plus.

ML Ops & Data Handling

• Exposure to ML Ops tooling or processes (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow) for model deployment and monitoring
• Experience with large-scale data processing and designing ETL/ELT pipelines
• CI/CD & DevOps
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices, along with related tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Basic monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure production stability

Teamwork & Communication

• Excellent collaboration skills in agile or iterative development environments
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Architect & Develop Backend Services

• Build scalable, high-performance backend components in Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript
• Design solutions that run and scale on bare metal, ensuring robust performance for on-premise deployments
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker, optimizing for both on-prem and AWS-based environments.

Data Pipelines & ML Ops

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to design ETL/ELT workflows for large datasets
• Contribute to ML Ops processes (model deployment, monitoring) running on AWS to keep data analysis reliable and up-to-date

Cloud Architecture & On-Prem Integration

• Deploy and manage services on AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3) as well as on bare metal servers in on-premise data centres
• Ensure the architecture supports hybrid deployment models, combining the scalability of AWS with on-prem reliability

DevOps & Automation

• Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) to automate testing, integration, and deployment
• Use infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and other best practices to maintain environments both on-prem and in AWS

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work closely with cross-functional teams—front-end, data science, product management—to deliver cohesive solutions
• Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and promote best practices in coding and architecture
