Description du poste We're looking for an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to join our AI integration team within Studio. This team is focused on bringing Mojo powered AI assisted workflows within Studio. As a member of this team, you'll work alongside product, design, data and other engineers on features that directly impact how creators upload, manage, monetize, and grow their content on Dailymotion. Your work will empower creators—from independent artists to major media companies—to reach their audiences and build successful channels. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in ambiguity, love diving into uncharted territory, and can navigate complex systems with limited documentation. If you're energized by exploration, prefer autonomy over hand-holding, and can turn messy problems into elegant solutions—all while keeping creators' needs at the center of your work—we want to hear from you. What you’ll do Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that bring AI powered features across Dailymotion Work across our technology stack—primarily Python with legacy PHP systems—in both monolithic and microservices architectures Tackle complex technical challenges in video processing, content management, creator workflows, and platform scalability Make pragmatic architectural decisions, balancing technical excellence with creator needs and business objectives Produce clear, comprehensive technical specifications that enable seamless collaboration across multiple engineering teams Be highly responsive in your communications—answer questions promptly, provide timely updates, and keep stakeholders informed Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and learning from others Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code that others can understand and build upon Champion engineering best practices including testing, documentation, observability, and operational excellence Qualifications What we’re looking for 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping production systems at scale Strong proficiency in Python.
