We're seeking a skilled backend engineer who can design and build scalable APIs, optimize backend services, and seamlessly integrates traditional AI and generative AI models to accelerate innovation and business growth. As a senior member of our team, you'll have end-to-end ownership of development, from ideation to production, and the autonomy to shape the direction of our products. You'll work on building robust, scalable, and maintainable services that enable the deployment of AI models at scale and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business impact. How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay at the forefront of AI/ ML platform advancements and apply your expertise to drive business outcomes. This means collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, designing and developing scalable AI solutions, and continuously monitoring and improving model performance. You'll need to balance technical complexity with business acumen and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What you do Architect, design, develop, and maintain high performance, scalable backend systems using modern programming languages and framework. Implement high-quality, scalable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices, and take ownership of maintaining a robust suite of microservices, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL endpoints that drive business value. Drive technical architecture vision by leading discussions and contributing to the design of the system's overall structure. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including data scientists, software engineers, and business users, to distill product requirements into actionable solutions, and develop accurate estimates of effort required to deliver high-impact results. Manage databases, including data modelling, query optimization, and ensuring data integrity. Ensure the reliability and availability of backend systems through monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management. Who you are Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Typescript and their frameworks. Solid experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs, GraphQL and other service-based architectures. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in RDBMS and/or NoSQL technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB, MongoDB, Cassandra) Familiar with CI/CD pipeline, version control, and automated testing frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket) Experience with monitoring tools such as PLG or ELK stack.
