You’ll support the build and management of backend infrastructure, implement new features, and collaborate closely with a cross functional Team, in an agile environment. In addition, you’ll take on a senior role within the team, coaching and guiding other engineers across the software development lifecycle. What’s involved: Contribute to a maintainable, high-quality, and performant codebase. Design and optimise backend services for scalability and reliability. Collaborate with engineering team members and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and share knowledge to lift team capability. Contribute to technical solution designs and product ideas. Apply modern engineering practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code. Who we’re looking for You’re an experienced software engineer with strong backend expertise who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You enjoy solving complex problems, designing robust technical solutions, and helping others grow. You’re passionate about continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the team. You’ll need: Proven experience in software development with strong backend expertise. .NET expertise is essential – deep experience with C# and .NET Core. Strong foundation in object-oriented design and building RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with agile practices, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Vagrant). Experience with virtualization and infrastructure-as-code principles. Event-driven development experience is advantageous. Solace messaging experience is advantageous. Exposure to Azure microservices architecture and OpenAPI tools like Swagger is a plus. You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
