About the role: Joining our "Core" team means playing a crucial role in shaping the success of our engineering department by providing core data and capabilities to the different teams.. Your team’s focus areas will include: Administrating and providing core data models to the different bsport teams (client, studio and locations, franchise, namespaces overall Develop the building blocks of our AI semantic layer, to power every other team AI-native features Provide and maintain core capabilities to other bsport teams like Authentication, our Permission system or a way for large franchise to administrate their studios. Manage our Buyables offering by managing our subscription, webshop & retails, VOD and pass architecture. 🎯 What will be your impact: As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will: Lead the design of services and event-driven architectures that handle high-volume data and ensure a balance between immediate product requirements, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability. Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code and implement best practices for code reviews, testing, and continuous integration & delivery. Provide technical leadership and share knowledge with less experienced engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation. Work closely with Data, Product, and DevOps teams to deploy and maintain cutting-edge solutions and align technical strategy with business goals, ensuring each release adds measurable value. Continuously monitoring and improving the performance of backend services using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Sentry.
