YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing robust and reusable software code. You can execute the full SDLC, write good, reusable, testable and maintainable code and you are familiar with agile framework.
  • Highly proficient with Java, Spring framework, APIs (RESTful services), databases and Camunda (preferred) or any equivalent process orchestration platform.
  • Experience working with agile development practices, with a good practical knowledge of CI/CD tools to facilitate agile delivery such as Git, Jenkins, TeamCity. Understanding of containers and cloud solutions (ideally Google Cloud Platform).
  • You are a good team player who likes to share contents and best practices, willing to mentor junior engineers, have good communication skills and can communicate fluently in English. German is a Plus.
Responsibilities
  • You design, develop and document microservice-based & Cloud-native application components which fulfil business requirements as well as technical requirements like observability, scalability, and stability/resilience.
  • You write clear, maintainable, and reusable code and take part in code reviews to ensure that features are developed at high quality standards.
  • You participate in and actively contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions within the team.
  • You are working in a cross disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy and actively engage in the engineering community, share your knowledge and build up a solid network.
