JOB DESCRIPTION

FUGA’s Data & Analytics team is looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to work in our Amsterdam headquarters. In this role, you’ll work with large-scale music streaming analytics data and contribute to the value-added projects that directly support the business.
The team is responsible for the daily retrieval, processing, analysis and publishing of insights on large volumes of music performance data coming from several popular Digital Streaming Platforms. The team manages large Google BigQuery datasets and has an overall data footprint of over half a PetaByte. All services are containerized and hosted in either a local Data Center or in Google Cloud.

• Create, deploy and improve high performance back-end services in Java and Kotlin
• Develop components to interact with APIs, databases, cloud services, message brokers, filesystems and data processing infrastructure
• Leverage a wide range of Cloud and SaaS resources and functionality
• Maintain, improve and evolve the processes, pipelines and infrastructure to scale with the growing data volumes
• Perform analysis on data and optimisation of software and running processes
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to own tasks and drive team success
• Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and drive continuous improvement in team practices
