About the role As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be the architect of innovation within our partner's customer-facing Analytics team. You will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities that will translate data into crystal-clear insights that customers can easily digest and act upon. In this role, you'll: Take charge in leading key features from conception to delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, product teams, and fellow engineers Utilize a cutting-edge tech stack, analytics tools, and advanced datastore designs Apply your expertise in data warehousing and distributed systems to solve complex challenges You might be our perfect match if you have: Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of backend coding languages and frameworks Utilize SQL to fine-tune database queries in a way that positively impacts customers Prior experience in fast-paced environments, especially within SaaS companies The ability to break down complex features into manageable tasks and provide reasonable and accurate estimates Familiarity with technologies like Postgres, Spark, Redis, distributed systems, data warehouses, or analytics workloads
