Introductory text
Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital decision-making freedom in Europe. As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, as well as Schwarz Produktion and PreZero. At the same time, we operate as an independent provider in the external market, supporting companies throughout Europe in their digital transformation. We combine our core services in the areas of cloud computing, cybersecurity, data & AI, communication, and workspace. Contribute to digital decision-making freedom in Europe.
With us, you'll work at the intersection of agility and security: You'll benefit from fast decision-making processes, enjoy genuine creative freedom in your projects, and build upon the stable foundation of the Schwarz Group.
Your tasks
- Design & Development: You will design and implement high-performance microservices in Go – idiomatic, testable, and production-ready. You will use modern development tools, including AI-powered tools, to improve quality and speed.
- Architecture : You actively participate in the design of event-driven architectures (including REST and gRPC interfaces), adhere to established messaging patterns (idempotent consumers, dead message queues), and document architectural decisions as ADRs.
- DevOps & Operations: Following the principle "You build it, you run it," you are responsible for the entire technical lifecycle of the software, Kubernetes deployments on our STACKIT cloud, as well as monitoring, structured logging, and tracing of your services. You define SLOs (Service Level Objects) together with the product and team.
- Teamwork: You derive technical requirements from user stories and conduct code reviews.
