Job description

• You are an integral part of the engineering team and jointly responsible for the further development and operation of our broker finanzen.net zero. 
• Work as part of an agile team with interfaces, especially to internal departments, IT, marketing, support and business. 
• Develop our platform further together with the team: We rely on Java and Spring Boot in a cloud-based environment (AWS).
• Together with the team, you will take responsibility for our platform and be the direct contact person for our specialist departments regarding 3rd level support requests.
• You constantly monitor our systems/operational dashboards, oversee and control the end-of-day processing from the banking system as well as the processing of our customers' securities orders. 

Qualifications

• You have several years of experience in the development and cloud-based operation (preferably AWS) of backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST.
• Do you come from a trading, brokerage, or banking background? Perfect. Are you looking to enter this world? Even better.
• You have experience using AI tools and a genuine interest in meaningfully integrating them into everyday development work.
• Knowledge of MySQL or similar relational, transaction-based databases is desirable. 
• High standards for reliable, maintainable software, strong initiative and experience in agile processes such as Scrum or Kanban
• Fluent German skills, both spoken and written, at least C1 level
