In this hybrid role combining backend development and operations engineering, you'll be our playmaker. You'll be responsible for building, scaling, and ensuring the stable operation of a lean, reliable backend and integration framework for our modern, cloud-native digital platform. At the same time, you'll establish cutting-edge agentic software engineering within the team. With your work and the smart, productive use of AI agents, you'll lay the crucial foundation for an inspiring energy experience of the future—event-driven, stable, and production-ready.

Your playing field

• You will develop high-performance and scalable backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• You design and implement modern APIs and integrations using REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI.
• You will shape the expansion of our cloud-native platform on AWS and drive its further development.
• You automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes with GitLab CI/CD and OpenTofu.
• You use modern coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar tools to take development, testing and automation to a new level.
• Together with the team, you will establish AI-Native Engineering Practices and actively shape the future of software development.
• You will work closely with Product Management, Architecture and Operations in an agile and interdisciplinary environment.

Are you our Playmaker?

• Several years of experience in the development and operation of modern backend systems
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures
• Safe handling of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Good knowledge of modern API and integration standards, especially REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI and OAuth 2.0
• An AI-native mindset and the motivation to fundamentally advance software development through the targeted use of AI.
• Practical experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar AI-powered development tools
• A high degree of ownership, pragmatism, and quality awareness
