Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Baker with substantial artisan bread expertise to play a pivotal role in our bakery operations. You will work closely with Head Baker Brendon Woodward, taking ownership of production quality, workflow oversight, and team mentorship.
You’ll be expected to maintain and elevate our standard of excellence in product, process, and presentation. This role requires strong technical mastery in sourdoughs, viennoiserie, and laminated doughs, as well as leadership capability to guide and develop junior bakers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and execute high-volume artisan bread production to exacting standards
  • Lead recipe development and continuous product refinement
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior baking team members
  • Monitor quality control, production schedules, and ingredient management
  • Collaborate with Head Baker and executive team to innovate and expand offerings
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance at the highest level
  • Support recruitment and training of new bakery staff
