We are currently recruiting a Senior Banking Analyst to work with our Finance team, based at our Head Office in Wootton, Bedfordshire, MK43 9EJ.
As a Senior Banking Analyst you will be responsible for performing a variety of banking duties and financial administration, as well as reconciling bank accounts against Copart’s own internal accounting records and investigating any exceptions which arise from this.

Responsibilities
  • Solely manage Ireland accounts and select high-value accounts previously handled by the supervisor, ensuring full reconciliation and SOX compliance.
  • Prepare and submit weekly cashflow reports to senior leadership with supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and reconcile UK and Ireland bank accounts, including Copart direct reconciliations and Yard UK accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries in JD Edwards for adjustments and write-offs; ensure accurate period-end reconciliations across CAS, JD Edwards, and online banking platforms.
  • Administer banking systems (Barclays.net, Precision Pay, EPDQ, Barclaycard), including user setup, credit limits, and query resolution.
  • Oversee banking admin tasks such as cheque management, direct debits, stop requests, and template setups.
  • Provide guidance to yards on banking queries and assist with exception handling and deposit issues.
  • Support the Banking Supervisor in projects, testing, and act as point of contact during their absence.
  • Assist with month-end reporting, audit preparation (including SOX), and identify opportunities for process improvement.
