We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and driven Senior Banking Treasury Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury you will play a crucial role within our Treasury department.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?

  • Undergraduate diploma, certificate, or degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 3-5-years of banking/accounting experience
  • Understanding and experience with DR/CR and journals
  • Experience with online banking websites
  • Experience with system implementation, such as
  • UAT testing, error de-bugging, parallel testing
  • Knowledge of system-based reconciliations
  • Creating match sets
  • Setting up matching/mapping rules for automation
  • File import
  • Data source import definitions
  • Completing flow charts
  • Advanced experience with Excel (Pivot Table, V-Lookup, IF Statements, macros).
  • Working knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 is an asset.
  • Familiarity with credit card payments in a retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and assisting in project and process implementation, requirements gathering, gap analysis, roll out process/procedures.
  • Awareness and consideration of Departmental controls and impacts.
  • Completing accurate and timely Banking reconciliations, ensuring balancing to ERP GL balances
  • Diagnosing reconciliation matching ineffectiveness and recalibrating accordingly.
  • Maintaining good relationships with banking partners, team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Managing Banking reconciliation outages and investigation.
  • Documenting transactions into the company ledger.
  • Experience developing reports for distribution.
  • Preparing quarterly variance narratives.
  • Initiating wires through various banking portals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Completing Cheque image deposits.
  • Organizing periodic Bank deposits/withdrawals.
